The 2025 Alameda County Women’s Hall of Fame honors several outstanding local leaders, including Lori Fogarty and Renee Herzfeld, both distinguished alumnae of the LeaderSpring Center Fellowship program.
Lori Fogarty, a LeaderSpring Class of 2016 East Bay Fellow, is the Director and CEO of the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA). Under Fogarty’s direction, OMCA has become a vibrant civic institution, fostering community engagement and celebrating California’s diverse stories and voices.
Also honored is Renee Herzfeld, a LeaderSpring Class of 2010 East Bay Fellow and Executive Director of 4Cs of Alameda County, a nonprofit committed to advancing quality early care and education. Herzfeld’s induction celebrates her decades-long dedication to child care access, family support, and equitable services for working families across the region.
Together, Fogarty and Herzfeld exemplify the spirit of public service and equity-driven leadership that the Hall of Fame seeks to elevate—making lasting impacts in arts, education, and community well-being throughout Alameda County.
